Nypost : Tim Duncan is back with Spurs in a different role

Gregg Popovich has made some additions to the coaching staff in San Antonio, and he’ll have a very familiar face on the Spurs bench with him.
Two-time NBA MVP Tim Duncan, who retired in 2016 after 19 seasons with San Antonio, will join Popovich’s staff for the 2019-20 season as an assistant.
“It is only fitting, that after I served loyally for 19 years as Tim Duncan’s assistant, that he returns the favor,” Popovich said in a statement.
The 43-year-old helped the Spurs win five NBA titles during his career after being the franchise’s top pick in 1997.
